Macarthur Health Precinct

The Macarthur Health Precinct is a staged healthcare development located at the heart of the Campbelltown Health and Education Precinct, <800m from the recently redeveloped Campbelltown Public Hospital. Designed to support the growing healthcare needs of South Western Sydney, the precinct will deliver an integrated ecosystem of clinical, research, education and wellness facilities.

Stage 1 - GenesisCare Integrated Cancer & Health Centre

Completed in 2024, the GenesisCare Integrated Cancer and Health Centre is a world class cancer care facility delivering comprehensive, patient centred services under one roof. The centre includes:

11 medical oncology treatment chairs
2 radiation therapy bunkers
12 specialist consulting suites
Integrated pathology, medical imaging and pharmacy
State-of-the-art wellness pavilion

Future Development

The remaining precinct is currently being masterplanned to create a comprehensive health, innovation and education destination. Future stages are expected to include overnight private hospital facilities, life sciences, research and education spaces, additional healthcare and wellness services and multideck car parking.

The Macarthur Health Precinct has been registered with the Green Building Council of Australia's Green Star Communities v1.1 rating tool as a 5 Star Green Star Community, making it the first health precinct in Australia to achieve registration under this framework.

Together, these developments will create a vibrant health precinct that supports clinical excellence, research, education and community wellbeing for generations to come.

Stage 2 - Coming Soon

Construction commences in July 2026 and represents the next phase of the precinct's growth. This six-storey healthcare building is designed to accommodate a diverse mix of healthcare, education and research uses, including:
